POLICY: All requests for cell phone utilization by a student during the school day that are indicated as medically based but not documented in a 504 or IEP, will be determined at the discretion of the CRCS Administration on a case-by-case basis through submission of the form linked below. Completed forms should be submitted to the CRCS CSE Office for review. Parents/Guardians must submit the request on behalf of the student. If phone utilization is deemed warranted, the parent/guardian will then be contacted by the Director of Special Education to establish a meeting date to further discuss their individual request and the next steps.
Welcome
Welcome to the Cuba-Rushford Central School Special Education Program.
The Committee on Special Education (CSE) and the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) will review evaluations to determine if your child qualifies to be classified for special education services. If your child qualifies, we will develop an Individualized Educational Program (IEP).
You have the option to ask for a CSE/CPSE meeting anytime. We are required to meet annually to review the current program and develop an IEP for the next school year. Every three years, we are required to review existing data or update our evaluations to make sure your child still qualifies for Special Education Services.
We look forward to working with you and your child.
